CSU Sacramento’s Wellness & Events Center will span 265,00 square feet and offer a “whole-health center” to the campus. Through the use of transparent walls, interior views expand in all directions to create a sense of community throughout the complex. The Recreation Center includes a wide range of athletic facilities, including basketball courts, a swimming pool, and a running track, as well as more socially-oriented activities, such as a cinema, a bowling center, and study areas. Health services are also available, including nursing care, physical therapy, and exam and lab rooms. The Events Center provides concerts, lectures, and varsity sports events for up to 8,000 spectators.
