The Village at Squaw Valley is a 172,000 square foot, mixed-use, residential community consisting of 139 residential units and 53,000 square feet of ground floor restaurant, retail, and gallery space, with two outdoor spas and below-grade parking for 275 vehicles. Residents enjoy the intimate, pedestrian experience of a contemporary California alpine village, whose board-and-batten siding above a base of local stone reflects its forested mountain setting. The site’s carefully choreographed ensemble places restaurants to take advantage of the western sun and locates shops and galleries to greet the skier at the end of the day’s final run.
